I am a father of two boys and two dogs and husband to my wonderful wife.  In a previous life I was a middle school teacher.  Now I am a research engineer but am studying to become an environmental health & safety manager.  Hobbies include cooking, gardening and hiking.  I enjoy practicing yoga and meditative relaxation.  I feel like I have a lot to say and look forward to being able to share with who ever wants to read.

I have always tinkered with writing.  As a youngster I would write short stories, and as an adult, I have tried my hand at blogging a few times.  Until recently I had never gotten the satisaction from my writing that I was hoping for.  Then I found HubPages and have been thoroughly enjoying my writing experience since.
